Harvest Moon Shower Gel

Many people find their souls purified on the clear. moonlit autumn nights. August 15th on the lunar calendar was said to be the day when the moon was most beautiful throughout the year. so aristocrats in the Heian period would hold banquets to enjoy moon viewing.

Also. in East Asia. the Mid-Autumn Festival is held on the same day. where people admire the beautiful moon. enjoy mooncakes. a sweet made to resemble the full moon. and delicious tea. and celebrate a bountiful harvest.

The inspiration for Harvest Moon Shower Gel is Osmanthus Oolong. an oolong tea scented with Osmanthus. The Osmanthus flower heralds the arrival of autumn and is used in China to flavor foods and perfumes. similar to pumpkin spice in the West. and also has the effect of softening skin.

■Featured ingredients

<Osmanthus Extract>
Osmanthus (sweet olive or sweet olive) flowers are used. Its unique fragrance is both floral and fruity. with a subtle hint of green notes.

Osmanthus has a stronger scent. reminiscent of ripe peaches and apricots. It is also an ingredient that helps to condition the skin.

Carrageenan:
A dried powder made from seaweed mucus. this ingredient moisturizes and softens skin. The hydrating carrageenan extract gives this two-tone shower gel its unique jelly-like texture.

<Glycerin>
Vegan glycerin made from rapeseed oil and palm oil-free is used. It locks in moisture in the stratum corneum and leaves the skin feeling soft.

Glycerin is a useful ingredient in self-preserving formulas that enhance the preservation effect of products without relying on synthetic preservatives. The viscous liquid creates an inhospitable environment for microorganisms.

■How to use

Take an appropriate amount and lather it well with a sponge. towel. or both hands. Then. massage it into your skin and hair. then rinse thoroughly. The jelly-like texture changes color gradients throughout the day. so just having the bottle around makes your bathroom look like a piece of art.
