Many people find their souls purified on the clear. moonlit autumn nights. August 15th on the lunar calendar was said to be the day when the moon was most beautiful throughout the year. so aristocrats in the Heian period would hold banquets to enjoy moon viewing.

Also. in East Asia. the Mid-Autumn Festival is held on the same day. where people admire the beautiful moon. eat mooncakes. sweets that resemble the full moon. and celebrate a bountiful harvest. Because the heat is still lingering around the time of the Mid-Autumn Festival. there is now a type of mooncake that is eaten chilled and no-bake. called Snowskin Mooncakes!

After enjoying the moon. whip up some Snowy Mooncakes. similar to Snowskin mooncakes. in your bathtub and immerse yourself in the white foam that resembles falling snow. The sparkling glitter peeking through the gaps in the bubbles looks like cool ice.

<Spearmint Oil>
This ingredient provides a refreshing. cool feeling and keeps skin healthy. It has a fresh scent with a hint of sweetness.

Cornstarch:
Cornstarch is a common ingredient in your pantry or kitchen. but it’s also a great addition to your bathroom! It adds a pleasantly smooth texture to your water. making it feel a little more luxurious. It also has skin-softening properties.

<Potassium hydrogen tartrate>
A by-product of wine production. It helps maintain the fluffy texture of the bubbles and improves skin texture.

■Scent

The gentle. refreshing scent of spearmint is subtly sweet. evoking pineapple and fruity bubble gum. It shares a similar scent to the hair treatment Yuge and bubble bar (bath additive)  

■How to use

Break it up with your hands. place it in the bathtub. and pour hot water over it with force. The secret to creating lots of foam is to break it up as finely as possible. By the way. these Snowy Mooncakes do not need to be stored refrigerated like Snowskin Mooncakes.
